Tulip is an award-winning stop-motion animated adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s Thumbelina which premiered at the New York International Children's Film Festival in March, 2021. Phoebe worked as the writer and lead character designer, as well as co-director and co-producer alongside animator and fiber-artist Andrea Love. In early 2020 they ran a Kickstarter campaign during which they successfully funded production of the film. The story follows Tulip, a tiny child who is born from a flower, on her adventures as she explores the garden outside her home in search of where she belongs. Throughout 2020 and 2021, the film screened at 28 film festivals all over the world, and qualified for an Academy Award. It is now available to stream online. More info on Tulip's site.
